New Wine 11/30/01

November 30, 2001

Subject: New Wine

Recently, my spirit man has gone through a dramatic shift. Shifting down to low, and engaging the cruise control. For the last year and a half I have had travail poured into me. I've pressed into the burden, until exhausted. Only to have the burden unloaded on me again and again. The Lord shared His burden with me, and we travailed together. "For we are labourers together with God... (1Co 3:9). Although I only carried less than a grain of sand, at times it seemed like anguish.

But now, I feel God is saying to me, "I am pouring out My new wine into you". I am learning that in order to keep up with what God wants to do in my life, I have to be sensitive to His leading and be ready to change wineskins like a chameleon. This new wine I am tasting is very sweet. It comes not, as I perceive it, from the throne, but from the very heart of God.

The brethren are being moved into a place, a very holy place. A place called UNITY. Not through human effort, but through His precious spirit. Like-minded brethren are now grouped together and growing in grace, but many walls still need to be torn down. Walls that we cannot see with our natural -or- spiritual eyes. I perceive this new move to be much like when God called His people back to Israel in 1948. This new "exodus" will begin to take place within the church body.

The brethren who have not hardened their hearts are beginning to melt like wax, and are flowing and forming a candle. We are being set into a lampstand by the Master. The light that emulates from this candle will be from the Lord Himself. The melting of this wax is from the precious love and blood of the Savior, who loved the church, and gave His life for it. The illumination of the light will cause the church to burn together as one, to further lift up the Light of the world. The sweet, sweet smell of our Lord's light burning will energize us and synergise us. "...Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;" (Psa 133:1-2) The love that flows from this light is intoxicating. It tears down barriers of race, creed and all other special interests.

I believe this is also the time for the release of the pastoral anointing. Not just an increase in power and knowledge, but a true release into the five-fold ministry of Ephesians four. "But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first". (Mat 19:30) Much like the so called separation of church and state, the old separation between clergy and laity will be broken down. The
pastor still maintaining spiritual authority over his charge. The tension between pastor and prophet will turn into attraction, as they can see clearly they both have the same goals and objectives given to them from the Lord. "Building itself up in LOVE...that which every joint supplies...the proper working of EACH INDIVIDUAL PART". (Eph 4:16)

It is easy to see why the youth have been called to be spearheads of the end time army. They are not as stained like myself from denominations and sects which cause divisions. They more easily form coalitions and consolidate strategems. They scoff and mock the previous generations insistence on clinging to old rituals and liturgies which bring about not true worship, but self-righteousnesss and pride. They exalt the true HEAD of the body. As a result, the true fire of God is able to more easily penetrate and mobilize them.

Myself, and each individual part should, "With one another...":
"Be at peace, love, share, be devoted, not judge, not owe, care, serve, bear burdens, be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving, speak hymns and spiritual songs, submit to, regard with importance, bear with, abound in love, comfort one, encourage, confess our sins, be hospitable, use your spiritual gifts and be in fellowship."

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (Joh 17:21)
