President Bush and the Sign of Jonah   11/06/02

I recently found some old notes filed away I had made regarding George W. Bush from 12/30/00.

Most prophetically inclined Christians are aware of the revelation Bob Jones received regarding the "Burning Bush" from Texas, who turned out to be the future President from Texas. In 12/2000 I received a word from Luke 11:29-30. "And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet. For as Jonah was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of Man be to this generation.

I believe that President Bush is a type of Jonah unto the Ninevites. I believe the church has misread the times and signs. The Ninevites are the Muslims and the church. Why? "But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. But Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not, I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people." (Rom. 10:19-21) The Ninevites are to provoke to jealousy, as is the church. For months my eyes have been riveted to digital clocks when they turn 11:11. It has finally been revealed to me it is referring to Romans 11:11. "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy." (Rom. 11:11).

I believe President Bush is the instrument that will burn the fire of a loving God toward all nations and peoples. Mr. Bush has correctly stated that Americans have a distorted view of the Muslims. To condemn them as evil and satanic is presumptuous. It is like saying our alcoholic Uncle Harry and drug addict Niece Mary are destined to spend the rest of eternity burning in hell, they are too far gone. Instead, we shall witness the greatest ingathering of the Muslims into Gods Kingdom, which will testify of His love and glory forever. When the nation of Israel sees this great outpouring to a "foolish nation", they will indeed be angered and provoked to jealousy!
